How I doubled my monthly blog earnings!!!

I didn’t!

Double of nothing is nothing.

It seems like everywhere I look, there is some article about “my monthly income report” or a “how-to” guide when it comes to monetizing your blog. There are so many out there now, that they all kind of blur into one big uninteresting heap. Is that the only way people blog now? For money?

I’m not against throwing some ads up on a site or if you have a really cool product to sell, but the proliferation of these articles doesn’t feel right. It makes blogging appear competitive and I’m not sold on that idea.

Are the only bloggers considered "successful" the ones that claim to teach other fledgling bloggers how to make money? Did they start off that way or was that just where they landed to keep their heads above water?

Don’t believe the hype, no one starts a blog for the very first time and makes boat loads of money. If a site is generating income from the jump, then there is someone behind it who has done this before. And if this is not their first rodeo, it seems a little unfair to lead others to believe that if they just buy your course or ebook or whatever, they can do that too.

Write what you like and sell what you want, but something about these posts are starting to smell like an MLM-esque situation in which only the folks at the top have any real success from selling a dream to people who will never get there.

So, there you have it:

Step 1: Write blog
Step 2:
Step 3: Profit!
